Facial Fat Graft

Procedure performed in order to restore facial volume lost inherent to the aging face.

In this procedure, fat is removed through liposuction from the donor area (abdomen, flanks, thighs, chin), and grafted in specific areas of the face.  Can be performed under local anaesthesia and sedation. It presents the advantage of being performed with material from the patient, which presents several advantages over synthetic materials.

The grafted fat undergoes absorption of about 20 to 30% over time.

Recovery is fast, being the patient able to resume work activities about 4 days after the procedure.

It is not necessary to use bandages or stitches, because no incisions are made.

This procedure is always realized as a complement to the rithydoplasty.
