About Us

Msc. Gustavo represents the 4th generation of Pereira Filho medical family, which is traditional in Rio Grande do Sul medicine for their excellence, ethics and professionalism.

He conducted his medical training at the Federal University of Health Sciences (UFCSPA), renowned as one of the best Universities of Brazil in the field of medicine.

He held the Residency in General Surgery at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre and the Residence of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at  Santa Casa de Misericordia de Porto Alegre, both reference and prominent centers for such specializations.

He is Member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Brazilian Medical Association (AMA), and Plastic Surgeon’s at Hospital de Pronto Socorro de Porto Alegre (main trauma Hospital of Porto Alegre). Besides, he is Preceptor of the Plastic Surgery Service at Santa Casa de Misericordia de Porto Alegre Hospital.

Currently, he is developing his doctoral thesis at the Federal University of Health Sciences (UFCSPA) where he has already obtained his master’s degree in pathology of the grafts .

In this context, has several publications in both national and international Journals of Plastic Surgery.
