Thigh Lift
A procedure designed to remove excess skin from the thighs (crural region), often combined with liposuction to eliminate localized fat deposits. It is performed under general anesthesia or epidural anesthesia with sedation, with discharge typically occurring 6 to 8 hours after surgery following recovery room observation.
The initial recovery period requires special attention. Moderate discomfort is expected during the first five days and is usually well controlled with medication. Patients should avoid activities that place tension on the incisions. Normal daily activities can generally be resumed after approximately 15 days, while physical exercise requires a longer recovery period and may take up to 3 months.
The use of a compression garment or taping for 30 days is recommended, along with lymphatic drainage treatments. Scars can be strategically positioned within the groin crease or along the inner thigh, depending on the specific needs of each patient.
